Important

This guide is informational and may not fit every setup. We do not provide third‑party support services. Always back up configuration files and test changes in small steps.

Choose one input layer

Many PC setups end up with multiple input layers active at once (game input + platform remapping + third‑party tools).

  • Pick one primary method for remapping (either in‑game or one tool).
  • Disable extra remappers while testing.
  • Keep profiles simple: consistency beats cleverness.

Fix drift with deadzones

Small drift can usually be handled with deadzones.

  • Start with a small deadzone and increase until drift stops.
  • Avoid extreme deadzones that make aiming feel “sticky”.
  • Test in the same in‑game scenario each time.

Mapping principles

  • Keep core actions on the most comfortable buttons.
  • Avoid multi‑button combos for frequent actions.
  • Write down your final layout so you can restore it later.

Troubleshoot responsibly

This is an informational checklist (not a support service). If input feels wrong:

  • Try a different USB port or cable (if applicable).
  • Disable overlays/remappers temporarily.
  • Reset to defaults and re-apply changes one by one.
